Retailer Spotlight: Olivelli Bloemfontein

Bloemfontein Olivelli opened its doors in January 2012. We identified the market after Annette's, the owner, daughter Nadia started searching for her dream wedding gown. “We found her perfect dress at Olivelli Randburg, and [we] crossed paths with Olivelli for the first time.”

1. Tell us a little bit about your store.

At first we only stocked the Beautiful range from Enzoani, but after Annette (the owner) went to the Enzoani [Fashion Event], held in 2013 in Hollywood, California, we started stocking the Enzoani range as well. Our team consists of a small bridal studio with 4 ladies that each do their best to make the space as special and the experience for the [Free State and Northern Cape] bride-to-be as memorable as possible. We have a much smaller clientele in comparison to larger central regions, but nevertheless we have won retailer of the year twice in a row (2012, 2013) for the Olivelli Franchise group.

2. What do you have planned for your store?

We would like to expand our bridal studio to also accommodate for the mother of the bride and the bridesmaids in the near future. We feel that there is a need for the wedding party to also receive special attention regarding their wedding attire, and our goal would be to help them with that.

3. Why is your store different from others around you?

We have very high standards when it comes to setting the tone for the brides-to-be and strive to always have an elegant and tasteful surrounding. We want our clients to feel special the moment they set foot inside our studio. The idea is to have a one-stop bridal boutique where the bride can get the exclusive attention and all she needs to look perfect on her wedding day. Bloemfontein is a small city, and we do not have all the facilities that the larger central franchises have yet we make up for it with our genuine customer service.

4. What is your favorite dress?

Because we work with brides that might have a smaller budget than brides from other larger regions, we thought it would be a great investment to keep the Enzoani Beautiful range in our studio. This range is very affordable yet it doesn't lack in its quality or eminence. Our favourite Enzoani dress would have to be Ivanka, due to the exquisite and delicate lace finishing! It is out of this world!

5. Are you excited for our annual fashion event that's coming up in Hollywood? 

Enzoani is the only designer house that makes it possible for their retailers to see the range first hand on the runway. The annual invitation to California is a must on our calendar!
