"My husband saw me for the first time at a backpackers' nightclub of which we both haven’t returned. It was a fluke and we were both there with friends completely unaware that our love story was about to begin. With mutual friends, he asked mine who I was, but didn’t approach. This very same morning, he added me on Facebook, and it’s safe to say the request was accepted with the help of my friend who kindly told me who he was and that I had to accept.
He courted me from the beginning, picking me up for our first date and dropping me home like the true gentleman he is, and the rest is history. We have a baby boy who we were so lucky got to be part of our special day and a day we will always remember.
Here’s to many more years as husband and wife and a day that was a real-life fairytale."

"Nim and I met in our first year of university. We both studied at King's College London and that’s where we met. We were friends for the majority of university and I’d never considered him as more than that. As university was finishing, something changed and we decided to give things a go. I’m so glad we did because we’ve never looked back. It’s been six years, we’ve graduated together, travelled around 30 countries together, planned two weddings together (our civil and our destination Indian wedding) and now are buying our first home. It’s been a journey, but I’m so grateful we’ve done it together!"

"We met during Covid in 2020 when all of the outside dining had opened up again, and I had gone out for some afternoon drinks with friends where I was introduced to Phill. We had both lived in the same small town all our lives and never crossed paths until now. It was definitely love / lust at first sight, we were inseparable for the next 3 days until he told me he had to go away to work in Norway for the next 3 months. I didn’t see how this would work, but love prevailed and we FaceTimed every day while he was away. Due to Covid and him working away, the next year was short stints of us seeing each other whenever we could. We would often book holidays to Barbados and city breaks to Paris to make the time as fun as possible, but Phill had a father suffering with Parkinson’s disease at home, which, in Phill's absence, I chose to go and help him out as much as possible, in which time I grew very close to his father Pete and dog Joey.
In February 2023, Phill flew us to New York as a surprise where he ended up proposing to me. We spent the evening celebrating at The River Cafe restaurant underneath the Brooklyn Bridge, and just over a year later, we decided to tie the knot on the 4-year anniversary of us meeting that summer during Covid. A week before our wedding, Phill's father passed away which left us heartbroken, however, we still decided to go ahead with the wedding and honour his dad. We were so overwhelmed with different emotions, but life works in funny ways. I was so glad I got the time to spend with his father while he worked away, and I know he would be so proud of us. We now have 2 fur babies together, Joey (Pete’s dog) and Dexter, and we can’t wait to see what this next chapter of our lives brings!"
