What is your favorite part about working in bridal? Why?
"Our favorite part about working in bridal is that every day is a new experience; there is truly never a dull moment! We love working with brides to help their wedding vision come to life! We love hearing each bride’s personal love story because every story is unique to that couple. We believe a bride’s wedding gown is the most self-expressive garment a woman will ever wear, and helping her pick that garment is a true privilege. There is nothing more special than when a bride says 'Yes!' to her wedding gown, and we cherish being able to be a part of her magical moment."

We’re living in such unexpected and crazy times with the pandemic. How have you/your brides adapted to our new normal?
"We are really fortunate that our bridal shop is already set up to be 'COVID friendly.' Since we are located in a house, we are able to use each room as a private bridal suite. Our brides are able to find their dream wedding gown, knowing they are in a safe environment.
We were also able to start offering virtual appointments, where brides could shop from the comfort of their own home. This would consist of a pre-consult call with the bride to identify her wants, wishes and dislikes and then schedule a Zoom call the following day. During the Zoom call, we would walk through 4-5 dresses, and based on her reactions and comments, we assisted her in determining the favorites and which dresses were worth trying on. From there, we would schedule an At Home Try-On where she was able to try on with her family, friends and FaceTime her stylist with any questions. During our city’s shutdown, this was a great way for brides to enjoy their engagement and find their dress, while keeping their loved ones safe!"

Do you have favorite gown(s) from our Bridal Collective divisions? What do you love most about the gown(s)?
"Pearl for sure has our hearts! The gown is stunning, from the gorgeous lace bodice to the simple crepe skirt, and the train adds the finishing touch. We love how brides are able to create their own look with all the options Pearl has to offer. If there was ever a ‘cherry on top’ for the perfect look, it is her matching detachable cape. While the dress itself is versatile, this style can compliment any wedding day vibe--from a simple elopement to an elegant evening wedding."

If our Artistic Director asked you to name a gown for the next collection, what would you pick and why?
"If we could name a gown for the next collection, it would be Kaci after our hometown of Kansas City. We would love to pay homage to this great city we are lucky to call home!"
