You may have spotted Little London Brides featured on the Enzoani Instagram, and for good reason! The team has been busy taking stunning pictures of the latest collections that we couldn’t help but share with you. We caught up with mother-daughter duo Shan and Steph who opened the doors to their elegant bridal boutique in March 2018.

How did your store first get started, and when did your journey start with Enzoani?

"With both of us working in the corporate world, we wanted to explore something different that gave us the opportunity to work together doing something we both enjoy. We needed to find something that we really believed in and loved doing, and after Steph getting married in July 2016, running a bridal boutique was the perfect choice.
We wanted to create our very own brand and bring a fresh and modern approach to bridal – bring the trendy feel of the London boutiques, with a luxurious and personal experience and dresses from a range of international designers that are different to the traditional dress.
We first started working with Bridal Collective in 2018 and launched with the Blue collection. In addition to the Blue collection, we are now proud stockists of the Enzoani flagship collection. The designs represent us brilliantly, complementing our other international designer collections."

What sets your store apart from other bridal retailers?

"We believe we are different because…
We have thought about every part of the journey. From the moment brides get in touch with us to book an appointment, welcoming them to our spacious boutique through to the alterations process, offering a very personal touch.
Experience is everything - we want our brides to have an exclusive and memorable experience. We hold only one appointment at any one time.
Our location is private, spacious and provides a tranquil setting.
We are family-run. Even Lauren is one of Steph’s closest friends. We believe this gives our brides a sense of comfort and trust which is so important when choosing the most important dress!
We are happy to advise – if you want it, of course.
We have selected a range of international designers that are brilliant to work with and represent our brand.
Our secret is… we buy dresses we love, and this means we are passionate about what we do. Our designers complement each other. This is helpful for brides who want to try more than one designer.
We always stay true to our brand and we have a fresh and modern approach to styling our brides which we believe is refreshing. Brides often need to be able to imagine the total look, and we love to help with that.
We are very proud of what we have created and have received some really wonderful feedback from our brides, who travel far and wide to visit our store. The feedback we get is about the unique range of our designers and dresses and the experience that brides receive."

What would you recommend a bride to do before/while shopping for her perfect gown?

"We always recommend brides do their research and select the bridal boutiques carefully before booking appointments. Select the bridal shops that stock the designers, styles and will provide the alterations support and experience. Read reviews and referrals. Buying a wedding dress is not just about finding the ‘one,’ it is about the whole process leading to the alterations and ensuring the dress and any accessories are perfect for the big day. This has never been more important than in recent times, appointments are very different with the Covid safety restrictions, and brides really need to narrow down the number of shops they visit.
Leave sufficient time to order the dress and get alterations done. Brides are not always aware as to how long a dress can take to order and ensure that time is allocated for alterations or any bespoke changes."

What was a particularly memorable or special moment that occurred with you and an Enzoani bride?

"Just before the first lockdown, with the magnificent Bridal Collective team’s support, we were able to make sure Rebecca had her dress and alterations in time for her wedding. Her father was terminally ill, and her wedding had been brought forward to make sure he was able to walk her down the aisle. Rebecca was kind enough to leave us this Google review!
'Everything about Little London Brides is wonderful. The boutique is beautiful, the dresses are gorgeous (I would have happily tried on every single one) and Steph and Shan are brilliant. They understood what sort of dress I wanted and made great suggestions but without being pushy or opinionated. We have had to bring the date of our wedding forward for family health reasons. Within 24 hours of the date changing, Shan and Steph had organised for my dress to be rush delivered and booked my alteration appointment for the next day. I am so grateful for the care they have taken to ensure that my experience was perfect. I only wish they sold day-to-day dresses so I could go back time and time again!'

What makes Enzoani collections your go-to for brides?

"We certainly attract brides who are looking for something a little bit different and want to look unique, with the wow factor. Many of our brides want to look and feel sexy on their wedding day, as well as glamourous and bridal. Bridal Collective brands offer all of this with their signature low backs, long trains, beautiful lace placement and a range of silhouettes that make the most of any figure with a fresh and modern feel."

What is your favorite Enzoani gown, and why?

"This is by the far the hardest question to answer! For us, it depends on the bride and look the bride is trying to achieve.
If you said destination wedding, it would probably have to be ‘Lesley’ Blue by Enzoani or ‘Pheobe’ by Enzoani.
If you said boho, it would be ‘Normandie’ or ‘Natsuko’.
If you said sexy, it would be ‘Peach’ by Enzoani.
If you said two dresses/ overskirt, it would definitely be ‘Paige’"

Anything else you’d like to add about your store, your relationship with Enzoani, or in general?

"Not only do we love the dresses, but we also love our working relationship with Bridal Collective and the services they support us with. The team is great, always available with the knowledge about the products and services which always gives us great confidence. The online portal gives us real-time information, and the customer service team is always so helpful ensuring orders and deliveries are on time. Having a great relationship means we can provide the best service and experience to our brides."
