As soon as the doors open at Maryland bridal boutique Love it at Stella's, the team cultivates a warm environment that every bride dreams of when looking for their dress. The Love it at Stella's consultants bring on a desired boutique feel with a large gown inventory, so that every bride can find "The One!" Tell us a little bit about your store's background and how you came to partner with Bridal Collective.

"We are the 3rd owners of Stella’s which originally opened as Pacey’s in the 1940’s. In the 1980's, it was sold to Crissy Kostis who changed the name to Stella’s in honor of her mother. It was a destination for brides in downtown Baltimore until March 2014 when we relocated to Westminster. Steve Glaizer was a treasured [sales] rep that left our company to join Enzoani and invited us to look at the collection. We fell in love with it, and have been doing very well in the short time it has been showcased in our store."

What is your favorite part about working in bridal? Why?

"I am so blessed to have a staff who loves the industry. We love it when a bride finds “The One.” Before buying the store, I was a seamstress making and altering gowns and love it when a gown fits so perfectly."

We’re living in such unexpected and crazy times with the pandemic. How have you/your store/your brides adapted to our ‘new normal?’

"These are challenging times, but we have risen to the occasion, requiring masks, signing waivers and lots of hand sanitizing. We are still doing virtual appointments and offering at-home try-on for those that cannot make it into the shop for an in-person appointment. We steam every dress after each try-on and keep parties distanced from one another. Our guests are very appreciative of our efforts to keep everyone safe."

Do you have any favorite gown(s) from our Bridal Collective divisions? What do you love most about the gown(s)?

"Our 2 favorites are the Natsuko and Narine from Blue by Enzoani. We love the godets, 3D flowers of the Narine and sheerness of the Natsuko.

What is a piece of advice you'd like to pass on to brides shopping for their dream dress?

"Don’t let everyone else’s opinion dictate what you want. Say yes to the dress that makes you feel like the special bride you are.
