Congratulations to our #EnzoaniTrunkShowEU Contest Winner!

One lucky #EnzoaniRealBride in Germany wins big!

From October 2015 to March 2016, the European Enzoani Office hosted a special contest open to Enzoani brides-to-be in Germany. Participants became eligible to enter after making a purchase of an Enzoani, Blue by Enzoani, or Beautiful wedding dress during a Trunk Show at an authorized retailer. By making a purchase and sharing their love story, participants competed to win a refund of the purchase amount of their Enzoani gown. The response was overwhelming, and we were thrilled to be able to share in the experience and listen to the beautiful stories of our #EnzoaniRealBrides. It was a tough decision, but the team was able to select one lucky winner:

Congratulations to...Yvonne G, who purchased her gorgeous gown from Hochzeitsrausch in Köln! Hear Yvonne's story below:

"We met each other in August 2012. I (Yvonne) worked at a pub named dem Freudenhaus, and Jens was a guest. I noticed him because he ordered a Captain – Cola Light, which I found pretty unusual and amusing. Then we started talking and quickly realized that we are on the same wavelength and have much in common. However, since we both stepped out of an exhausting and disappointing relationship in the past, we first became friends. Actually neither of us was looking for a new relationship. We chatted a lot on Facebook and we hung out and did things like playing billiards, visiting sports events, inline skating, baking cookies, etc. It took us 3 months before we became a couple, which we however think is our secret. We both really got to know the real person and never adjusted because we wanted to please the other. It just really was a great match and now we’re not only a couple, but also best friends.

It would probably have taken even longer if I didn’t make the first move after three months! I was a bit afraid that he was into men and not into women, since he never made a move and I started doubting. In retrospect, he said it was his intention to make himself interesting, but I rather think he was shy. Anyhow, it worked…

Often relationships end due to carelessness, daily routine, monotony, or lack of time for each other. Important in our relationship to me is that we make sure this won’t happen to us. We still appreciate each other very much and don’t take things for granted. Both of us also have our own way of showing this. Jens isn’t a big romantic who lays down flower petals on the floor or writes romantic poems – for him a burning candle is already very romantic – but he lets me feel special in a different way. He is very attentive in life every day with several little ‘touches,’ but these things mean a lot to me. For example, he often scrapes the ice off my car window in the winter before I have to go to work, he spoiled me when I had the flu; he brought my favorite chocolate. I remember one time he surprised me with self-cooked food after work and he helps me with any small requests or things that I already had forgotten about.

He gives me the feeling of being unique and very special to him. He loves me just the way I am with all my quirks; of course I’m not perfect, but he loves me. I feel safe and secure at his side and when we spend time together, it’s full of friendship, intimacy and fun. We are a great team, however both of us are still our own person with own needs. We have enough space, place and time for ourselves, our own hobbies and friends."
