#EnzoaniRealBride: Bronwyn & Reinhart

On the 22nd of March 2013, Bronwyn married Reinhart at Memoire, Muldersdrift, South Africa. Bronwyn met Reinhart at University as friends. They had been friends for over a year before Reinhardt decided to make the first move. 

I was at a braai at Reinhardt’s house to celebrate finishing our 2nd year varsity exams. So when I was ready to leave, he decided to kiss me in the kitchen, I was so shocked that I got into my car and left. I know…. Wasn’t the best move ever! However my friend that was driving with me made me turn around, and what can I say from that day on there was no turning back. So after 5 years of dating, Reinhardt knew it was finally time to pop the question. We were in Cape Town on holiday and on that specific day we were admiring the beautiful view of the Winelands in Franschoek, and there he went on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was totally speechless and even answered with…… Are you serious? Then the planning started for our legendary wedding! 

I had looked everywhere for the perfect wedding dress but I never seen anything even close to what I dreamed of. I was so stressed, frustrated and depressed. I have been to every store in town and did not find the dress! But as soon as I put the Erin dress on I knew that this was the one. This was MY dress, I found the PERFECT wedding dress. I fell in love with the beautiful detail of the lace, the gorgeous button back, the heart shaped front with the A-line shape and overall I just LOVED it! I can’t even put into words how special I felt on my wedding day wearing this gown. It was even more beautiful than I remembered. It was elegant and classy, I looked like a queen and absolutely felt like a real life princess. Even thinking about it now makes me smile for ear to ear!

My most memorable moment was certainly that feeling of waiting in front of the chapel door and knowing that at any moment I will be marrying the man of my dreams. As the door of the chapel swung open, I stood there looking at Reinhardt’s face…… That smile said it all! 

If I were to give a piece of advice I would say the day goes by so quickly, don’t let the stress get the better of you! You only get married once, so enjoy and have fun. And remember to take mental pictures of every moment of the day!
