Our story begins when we were just friends in college. We sat next to each other in band rehearsals because we both played the alto sax, but the friendship truly formed through the years outside of concert band, spending nights together getting boba and Korean BBQ. Fast forward years later, we'd gone our separate ways - I stayed in California while Jasha moved back home to Hawaii. in September 2021, I went on a vacation with friends to Oahu and hit up Jasha to see if he could show us around. We reconnected and reminisced on the old days from 4 years prior and never stopped talking since that trip. A month after I got home after that vacation, we became official. We learned that we'd have to endure extreme lows of a long distance relationship but also get to experience the highs of reuniting every few months. Now, we've gone ring shopping, looked at venues in Hawaii, and talked endlessly about our dream wedding. We're so excited to celebrate our marriage with our friends and family!
