It all started about a decade ago when we were in high school and 16 years old, when Adam spotted me cheering on the sidelines at a football game. I went to an all-girl school and was on the cheer team, so we would cheer for our all-boy brother school, which was where Adam attended school at the time. Too shy to introduce himself to me in person, he found me on FB and DM’d me with a thoughtful “hey.” Well, thankfully that’s all it took for us to start talking, eventually go out on our first date to a ridiculous movie, and after our second date, for me to tell him it was time for him to be my boyfriend! We moved in together this past January after dating for almost 9 years, and Adam proposed a few months later.

Since we were young we talked about getting married and how we would build a life together, but it always seemed so far away. It feels surreal now to be planning a wedding and we just can’t wait to make new memories as a married couple in this next stage of our lives together!
