Our wedding day is going to fall on Kieran and I's 10 year anniversary. We met during university as I was walking my dog, Nova, through campus. Kieran approached me to meet Nova, but we both had places to be and we went our separate ways. During the first week of the next school year, as I was bartending at a local family diner, Kieran happened to walk in. After much encouragement from his friends, he asked me on a date. During the next few days as we were planning our first date, we seemed to run into each other on a daily basis. We did go on our date, and many more over the next months and years. Since then, we've moved in together, adopted a second dog, and purchased a home. We got engaged earlier this year while on a hike with Nova and our second dog back in our university town. Kieran loves to attribute our relationship to seeing Nova on that sidewalk, and jokes that she was his first love (with me being his second). We can't wait to get married & celebrate our relationship.
