Isaac and I have what some would call a whirlwind romance. We fell in love and got engaged rather fast as we instantly clicked. I knew very early on that I had met my future husband as he was very different from anyone else; he is one in a billion.

He was absolutely every single thing that I had been looking for.

Isaac and I met in summer 2016 - we were out and about through some mutual friends. After 4 weeks of seeing each other, Isaac took me to Hawaii on vacation. It was absolute magic.

We were then engaged just after my birthday in April 2017. He threw me an amazing birthday party with our closest friends, then popped the question later in the night -- which was totally unexpected! It was such an incredible surprise.

We had a year and 7-month engagement which I feel was the perfect time to plan a wedding.

Our love story is very unique. It holds such a special place in my heart.

My favorite memory from my wedding day was the moment I finally met with Isaac at the end of the aisle. It was the most surreal and incredible feeling as I had been dreaming of that moment my whole life.

It was so incredible to see the whole ceremony put together so perfectly. The ceremony was exactly as I had imagined, but even better. Seeing Isaac’s face for the first time is something I will remember forever. I can still remember how amazing it felt being able to finally stand in front of him as his bride.

It had finally all come to real life, it was the most amazing moment. I also absolutely loved the moment when we walked back down the aisle as husband and wife… It was one of the greatest feelings ever; it felt like such an incredible achievement.

My best advice to other brides is to get married exactly the way that you and your husband want to…at the end of the day, it’s you two that matter! I can honestly say that both of us have absolutely no regrets from the day.

It was truly 100% perfection in our eyes, exactly how we wanted it to be, and we absolutely loved every second of it.

My other bit of advice would be to be as organized as you can and to try to sort out things in as far as advance as possible, as this will help alleviate some stress and also ensure that you don’t miss out on getting all the vendors that you want.

The Dress

I choose Karolina. It’s a beautiful, fitted strapless gown with a long train. This dress was the last dress I tried on at the second-to-last shop. I knew straight away it was the dress for me as it suited my body perfectly.

I definitely had that WOW moment which is what I was looking for. I also felt like myself in this dress! I chose it as it was very much reflected in myself and my personal style. It was very elegant yet showed my shape. I loved the beautiful lacework on the body and the long train.

I loved the length of the train, it was so stunning. My dress has boning in the bodice which gave the dress extra shape in the waist. It also held the dress up which was a very important thing to me with the dress being strapless. I did have an extra piece of tulle sewn onto the bust line as it was more suited to my shape.
