Styled Photoshoot: Birmingham at Twilight

Birmingham how you’ve never seen it before… Couture meets urban

The evening before the 2016 UK Launch Event, armed with two dresses, one model and a make-up artist, our team of photographers took to the streets of Birmingham to have a late night shoot.The result was more than we could have hoped for, and the whole evening was captured by our videographer Steve Ratcliffe. Check out all the behind-the-scenes magic…

SCENE ONE

The first location used one of the most recognisable Birmingham landmarks to frame the first scene. The beautiful curve of the building complemented the womanly curves emphasised in the silhouette of Judy from the 2015 Enzoani collection. The coloured embroidery sparkled in the light of twilight. Seeing the dresses in contrast to the unusual urban backdrop resulted in some truly stunning images.

SCENE TWO

The ultra-glamorous Judy from the 2015 Enzoani collection took on a life of its own down the back alleys of Birmingham streets. Probably the last place you would expect to see a couture bridal gown, the alleyway set the stage for some unique pictures. The finished results look like a scene straight out of a movie.

SCENE THREE

In the day, what would be a busy shopping street of Birmingham became deserted late at night. The winding street, lit by the shop windows, provided another opportunity for a great shot.

SCENE FOUR

A stark contrast to the location in scene one, the Birmingham Council House built in 1879 provided a big shift in atmosphere and feel. The shoot took place outside the Grade ll* listed Banqueting Suite where the UK Launch Event took place the day after. The iconic Victoria Square provided a stunning backdrop for the last scene of the night. Hanoi from the 2015 Blue by Enzoani collection dfit perfectly in place with its traditional lines and beautiful lace details.
