Tell us about your love story...

"Grant and I met in the more common arena nowadays of working together, and the friendship was easy and uncomplicated, especially as we were both involved in other relationships. Dating wasn’t an option or consideration, but what did grow was a deep respect for each other and a trust as a result of relying on each other and our teams to have each other’s backs. Looking back, I enjoyed his dynamic, easy-going personality. Fast-forward nine years, and I’m his wife. What an incredible journey of discovery and growth but a depth of understanding between us that I never thought possible. We still work together which I love, as we plan and strategise, but I couldn’t imagine it any differently. We have been given a second chance and we are loving doing life together."

What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?

"We planned a destination wedding, although still in South Africa, but it did mean that our closest friends and family were able to spend the weekend with us. From Friday night cheese and wine to breakfast in the morning, we had a weekend of laughing, relationships and special memories with the people we love."

Tell us about the dress...

"At the end of the day, I believe every bride wants to see their husband-to-be emotional when she walks down the aisle. And I was no different.
I wanted something simple but elegant, and when I tried on Marla in the Blue by Enzoani collection – I didn’t look further. I felt beautiful, it fitted immaculately and was so “me” and as I had hoped, I walked down the aisle to the man of my dreams, in tears. I couldn’t have asked for it to be more perfect."
