We met at college and were really good friends! The unthinkable happened of escaping the friend zone and we got together just before we were about to head off to university. Everyone told us that we wouldn’t be able to make it work because our university were complete opposite of the Pennines (York and Lancaster, UK). But we did - back in 2014. 9 years later we are still together. We bought our first house in 2021 and then in May 2023, he down on one knee and ask me to marry him! It has been a whirlwind of 2 months and we have booked our wedding date and venue and in full planning mode. He always said he didn’t want a long engagement so we have just over 12 months to plan! Our wedding is 30th July 2024!
